The Client
Since 1985, Linder's has been providing the Pittsburgh area with the finest quality rugs and furnishings from around the world. Their McKees Rocks showroom encompasses a beautiful old church and surrounding buildings, home to a fine collection or new and antique rugs, antique and estate furniture, and some of the finest new and reproduction furnishings available today.
The Project
Looking to expand on their original website design from 2005, Linder's approached DH Creative to incorporate their furniture lines and update the rugs section. This was not a complete redesign, as most of the content and several design elements were used from the original website. But the new design has a more sophisticated style, with a more complex architecture built on the Drupal CMS to allow for quick updates.
By using Drupal, DH Creative has the groundwork has been laid for future expansion and the development of an online store. Galleries of rugs and estate furniture offer samples of current inventory without the need for constant database updates, and a database of brand name furniture lines provides visitors with the means to explore a variety of options.
